Pros

Lendbuzz seems to have good health benefits and offers remote work

Cons

I only interviewed for this position, but recruiting was bizarre. -interviewer was late to my interview - their phone connection was terrible and had to have me keep repeating myself. - questions they had on my skills and qualifications seemed like they hadn't even looked at my resume at all. - the salary range they stated was way under acceptable. - when I stated the range was low, the HR rep immediately started wanting to stop the interview process siting "if you're not happy with the pay you won't be happy in the role" and I had never said I didn't wish to continue. I had to explain two more times I was still interested before they accepted that I wanted to move forward. - got a decline email the next day for a role I'm overqualified for which makes it seem like the HR rep wasn't paying attention to my experience at all. Overall, this whole interaction made lendbuzz look very unprofessional

Hello! Thank you so much for taking the time to share your experience. We believe its important to disclose pay plans and compensation early in the interview, so candidates can decide if the role is something they want to spend time pursuing. However, it sounds like we have an opportunity to improve this part of our hiring process.

Pros

I’ve had a good experience at Lendbuzz. You’re not just babysitting accounts, you’re actually building relationships and growing your own book. The product sells, especially in non-prime, so if you put in the effort you’ll see results. I like that you know where you stand with your numbers. They are clear and leadership is pretty accessible.

Cons

Like most lenders, there’s back-and-forth with underwriting on tougher deals, and some processes can feel a bit manual at times. It’s a fast-paced environment.

Pros

The company started out with a good idea for a lending program.

Cons

The company does not understand the business it is in. Leadership does not respect or its employees or its dealership clients. The CSO yells at managers in the sales department, and has constant turn over with the outside sales reps who work endless hours. When outside reps leave, their accounts are give to the inside sales department who work even more hours for less money. The inside sales employees are required to continue working after they leave the office from a 9 hour day. They are told to continue to take calls while they drive home, and then they have to continue to work from home each night until 11pm. The total hours are 13 hours per day 7 days per week. If they do not work these hours, they will be fired. Many employees in the sales department are new to this country, and the company culture is not conducive to giving that department an avenue to voice their complaints.
