Pros

Legacy's work culture is phenomenal. This is a true small company environment, in a smaller office just outside downtown Orlando. Both Paula and Chris are accessible and open to implementing new ideas within the company, and provide a great deal of training and feedback as needed. It helps that the company works in an interesting and dynamic field - the medical device sector has a lot of room for opportunity for someone who wants to run a full desk. Once you ramp up, the money starts to flow in. You only need 1-2 closes a month to start touching the 6 figure compensation mark. At the end of the day, if you're enthusiastic about making money and learning about cool technology, this could be a lifelong career. I think the longest standing recruiter here has been here over 11 years.

Cons

Most of the cons come from the fact that the job is recruiting. Some days it feels like you're staring at an endless list of phone numbers to call, and that candidates never want to talk. It can be very disheartening if you haven't closed a deal in a while. You have to be willing to put in long days grinding on the phone with >3hrs of call time if you want to succeed. If you're working to close a hot job, you might find yourself working a few 10 hr days in a row. There are a few clients that we work with periodically that are difficult to close business with.
