Pros
The best (and sometimes worst) part of working at Leg Resource was that you were exposed to all aspects of the business. If you are just out of school or changing career paths this would be a good opportunity. You will gain experience in graphic design, production, product development, showroom selling, PR requests and fit/technical design. It is a good place to stay for a short period of time in order to learn and as a stepping stone for your next job. You may get some free tights out of it, an invitation or two to a fashion show, and lots of experience with stress and conflict management.
Cons
There was very, very poor life-work balance here. Late hours were standard and rarely appreciated. The company was lacking in organization, structure and strong managers. There was no career growth, and raises were difficult to come by, if at all. There is definitely a "boys club" mentality here. Any HR person would have a field day in this office. My recommendation to anyone considering working here is to make sure you negotiate up front for salary, sick days and vacation days. Get everything in writing and keep records.
