Pros

Potential to make good money. They have a race team....which I’m sure is paid through zero commission deals. If you hate your family, it’s the place for you. You won’t see them anymore.

Cons

Zero work, life balance. Zero integrity based sales. They encourage you to be deceitful through the sales process. They threaten to cut your leads if you don’t go to cost to close a sale (which you don’t get paid for) they remove the ability for you to do follow up sales. They tell customers, everyone works directly for LF. Not true. All employees in each office are 1099. They also use existing subs for install. They will send you 3 hours away to run an appointment at 9 am and 7 pm. It’s not uncommon to drive 6-8 hours in a day. (In there eyes, driving doesn’t constitute working). Understand in your interview that when they say 30-35 hours a week, they’re leaving out the 20-30 hours a week you drive. I could keep going but I won’t. For the record, I don’t like LeafFilter but I’m one of the ones making money. If you are a professional, value driven salesperson with a conscience...listen to me: LeafFilter is not for you.

Pros

Good product, enjoyed meeting potential customers. Made a little money

Cons

Management driven by self promotion. Definitely not team builders. They'll dump a good salesperson in a minute if you're not wanting to go to a super low price to close a sale. You don't make enough to cover your gas expense let alone the follow up phone calls from that customer and dealing with confusion as to "they were supposed to be here to install my leaf filter today" phone calls from customers. No "big picture" since they keep sales, marketing, and install teams isolated so sales people have no idea what anyone else is doing. Good luck figuring out how much you made on a sale, if anything, since they don't send commission statements. Your job as a sales person is to go where you are sent and get the sale by cutting the price without regard to your personal income.
