Pros

Positive relationships with coworkers and middle managers.

Cons

The company has struggled financially for years, exacerbated by over-hiring during the COVID boom. Middle managers’ warnings about unnecessary staffing were ignored, and a costly multi-year office lease was signed despite declining trends. The CEO resisted remote work policies, allowing only a select few to work remotely while others faced scrutiny and discipline for similar arrangements. Leadership was unaware of excessive spending on recruiting services until significant layoffs forced deeper cuts. Accounting issues persisted due to poor hiring and oversight, and efforts to address these problems were undermined when newly hired staff were reassigned to another company owned by the CEO. The company culture is problematic, with a facade of a "family" atmosphere that feels insincere. Leadership displays significant favoritism, with some employees granted remote work privileges while others face penalties for similar arrangements. Documented performance issues are often used as a basis for layoffs, even if those employees are high performers compared to those retained. There is also a tendency to shift job responsibilities to lower-paid employees without corresponding raises or changes in job titles. Leadership lacks effective qualities and communication. There is no clear documentation or guidance on job responsibilities or changes. Frequent and disruptive changes in pay structure, recruitment processes, compliance, KPIs, and team composition. Decisions are made without consulting relevant departments, leading to inefficient problem-solving and extended resolution times. Only the CEO or top leadership can make decisions. The company is reactive rather than proactive, often scrambling to address issues as they arise. Ineffective use of the Entrepreneurial Operating System (EOS), with either poor implementation or an unsuitable fit for the company’s needs.

Great work life balance. LeaderStat is flexible if you have an appointment you can flex your time and leave early or come in a bit later. We are able to work hybrid. Great group of colleagues. That are supportive and easy to talk to. Happy Hours and team outings are sometimes planned. LeaderStat often shows appreciation for their employees. Managers are easy to talk to and address concerns. They often advocate for their team. Vision driven Leadership and supports employees input. Transparent communication during uncertain times along with clear expectations and structure. You can use your PTO when ever you need too. Relaxed environment. Great bonus structure for recruiters to hit goals. Fair market rate compensation. Insurance covers one pass where you can access a wide number of fitness centers in the area for a small monthly fee. Clear job description and outline. Leaders lead by example and uphold company values. Safe space for all backgrounds. All cultures and religions are welcomed. We have a weekly prayer lead by Seth. Employees are welcomed to join but not forced. I feel like my job is impactful and meaningful we help facilities that are in need of immediate staff.

Cons

Due to market change LeaderStat has had to layoff a large number of staff. This makes employees have job insecurity. Employees that were laid off are bitter and speak bad about LeaderStat. In reality the layoffs are out of LeaderStats control. Eleanor does everything she can to keep the company moving forward.
