Pros

On paper, Launch That is an exceptional company to work for. Healthcare is covered, 401(K) matching, free food/drinks in the break room, and lots of really fun events.

Cons

In reality, Launch That cares more about winning the "Best Places to Work" award more than hitting revenue goals. You will undoubtedly experience one of many organizational structural changes, reactive vs proactive decision-making, and stagnant career progression. However, it's their hypocrisy that may be their biggest flaw. Senior leadership puts people in boxes with no escape, which is the opposite of a growth mindset, something they love to preach, but don't follow themselves.

Launch That Response

Thank you for your thoughts and feedback. For the sake of accuracy, the recent Reduction in Force did affect 18 ICs, and this accounted for ~20% of the workforce and 1 Senior Leadership Team member, which accounted for ~11% of Senior Leadership. We have projects at Launch That that are seen as investment opportunities and do technically “lose money”. But strictly speaking, this was not the reason for the recent RIF. The challenges stemmed from lower results than anticipated combined with an unsustainable level of investment relative to slow growth forecasts. Our intention was not to come off as misleading and the results were presented to the team on a monthly basis. We are committed to speaking to the team about project performance, provide guidance and color to those conversations. And commit to improving our teams and our projects. Our commitment remains unwavering in fostering the growth of our team members. Launch That has a track record of helping individuals advance their careers, and we will continue to provide an environment conducive to learning, personal development, and community. Adapting to the evolving digital landscape has posed challenges for Launch That in recent years. To address this, we are actively investing in new channels and expanding our team to enhance our strategies and tactics. I'm open to discussing these matters in greater detail if you wish to reach out to me directly. Please don't hesitate to let me know if there's any way I can personally assist you. - David Palombo, President of Launch That

Pros

Flexible work schedule and great hybrid work model Supportive, understanding leadership Amazing company culture truly unlike anywhere else Positive, collaborative work environment Coworkers who are great to work with and genuinely care Strong benefits package Company really takes care of its employees Healthy work-life balance

Cons

Honestly not many fast-paced at times, but manageable Because the culture is so strong, it can set high expectations for fit (not a bad thing, but worth noting)

Pros

This company has such a wonderful ability to collaborate and take everyone's ideas, talk through them, decide what works and what is not a fit, and quickly implement. I haven't seen this type of speed to completion on projects in my entire career. They have a great mix of diversity within the company and we are encouraged to communicate across business lines and entities to enhance the value of the company. There's a strong leadership group and expect results.

Cons

Open architecture can sometimes be slightly confusing.
