Is this your company?

Pros

LMN has a incredible team of people, we all get along really well and there is so much passion between colleagues

Cons

LMN is focusing too much on making bad decisions, the fundamental truth here is that LMN is not a landscaping business it’s a tech business. Unfortunately it is run like a landscaping company. There is very much a controlling culture at LMN, the ‘HR’ department will make frequent and random firings, there are patronising talks during company meetings about how we would not be able to last in other companies. There is in general a threatening behaviour over how we should just be grateful for even being allowed to be employed. Communication is not a great component at LMN with a reliance on gossip for in popular decisions to be announced, the most recent being that LMN intends to install software on our laptops to track every second of what work we do. I am really concerned that if LMN does do this it will push a bill of the remaining team out of the door

Pros

Culture, vision, and the opportunity to do your best work, and also the 4-day work week is sublime.

Cons

None. I've been with a lot of other companies over my career and this one hands down is wonderful.

Pros

Good colleagues for the most part, theoretical 4-day work week. A few departments fly under the CEO's radar and enjoy the autonomy to do the jobs they were hired for.

Cons

Horrible leadership -- controlling. CEO manages with no vision, strategy or direction. It's all willy-nilly ad-hoc, knee-jerk insanity. Leadership is patronizing and unsupportive and doesn't understand the current world. They think doing what they did 15 years ago will work today, which is not true. The company is not making its numbers, Ironically, it sells process to landscapers, but has no process of its own. It's chaos and turnover -- voluntary and involuntary -- is rampant.
