Pros
Generous PTO, ok - benefits
Cons
Will lay you off without reason, very clique-y and if you do not fit in - they make it known. You need to be certified on their products, and they will conduct 100 question exams on a near monthly basis when you start and get ramped up. This came as a surprise to me as it wasn't mentioned in the job description nor was it mentioned on my 3 interviews. Nevertheless, I gave these exams my all and passed them. The certifications do not matter however once you leave the company. Training is to the bare minimum, Mine wasn't even conducted properly, manager kept apologizing for being absent. Same manager is the one who laid me off with HR with no reason as to why besides "performance" when nothing was mentioned, ever, beforehand about my performance lacking in any way. Hadn't had a 1-1 in nearly two months when this happened so came as a complete surprise. Did ask for reason and still have not been answered with one, which is unprofessional to say the least. I would avoid unless you are looking to gain experience in EdTech. I had a pleasure working with the school districts and providing support, did not have a pleasure with the internal teams not being there to assist when needed. Unwillingness to help one another will be your biggest downfall along with lack of communication. To say on my last 1-1 I am moving in the right direction, fast forwarding to nearly 2 months later with zero communication and being left without a job is unprofessional.
