Pros
* There are as many rewards as clients to serve -- a chance to feel good about what we do and how we are helping others * There is an abundant of rich staff full of quality people with talent and generosity to spare * There is a great deal of resources available to tap and they are richly shared in a fairly boundaryless environment
Cons
* There is the tug of delivering a human solution at a vulnerable time against the metrics of finances and time -- and the pressure comes from customers, clients and management * The competition in the field can be pretty deceitful in their claims, putting us in a position to try to live up to the false "standards" with all of our key stakeholders * HR teams can be carved out of the buying equation by company's use of purchasing depts -- and good decisions can be eclipsed by the false advertising and promises of some "providers". It is annoying to see business go to those competitors that we know are misrepresenting themselves and us just to gain a piece of the marketshare.
