My particular department was absolutely great! We were a family.
Cons
The people at the top have forgotten what it's like to not be at the top. You cannot fund your acquisitions with the merit increases you froze from your employees nor can you save money by implementing a hiring freeze right when you are in the middle of said major acquisition.
