Pros
The people make the job. Can make lasting friendships as you're all in the same boat. Willing to take on graduates fresh out of uni.
Cons
Care more about money than supporting the staff. Very frugal with money to the point that my dept kept running out of basic and essential equipment to do the job. No advancement, regardless of being promised on multiple occasions. Very reactive when things go wrong, make mountains out of molehills and are quick to punish and make judgement before hearing all sides of the story.
