Pros

Overall LG as a whole treats employees very well (benefits, vacation, bonuses etc).

Cons

Your job is not secure, you have to back up everything that you do with documentation and picture proving why something happened. We spent more time writing reports than actually fixing the problems. Workinng in the plant is not a 9-10 hour day job, the tasks given to you can easily push you to a 14-15 hour day with no overtime pay and no support or thanks from management. If something breaks in the production area, you better have an answer for why it is broken and WHO broke it, more time was spent blaming people than working to find a solution and prevent it. The plant is segregated by department, each department works to protect themselves even if it means throwing other departments under the bus. Since the start the plant was segregated, work is pushed from person to person until it is just forgotten about and defend yourself with anything you do. Overall hostile work environment worrying about your job and not to get attacked by management or other departments

Pros

LG used to be my dream job. 5 years ago, Every good part of LG ended. They preach all day about wellness, work life balance, and investing in their employees. And they used to do just that but not any more. Their 100% paid insurance is literally the only perk and its a trap.

Cons

They take motivated and competent individuals and shackle them with the workload of 5 or 6 people while telling them they aren't good enough, not doing enough, even though they are somehow finding a way to juggle all of the immense workload. PTO is a joke and no one respects it, they will call and ask you to work on your PTO, on weekends and at 10pm. They have no shame. The compensation is entirely below the bar even with 100% paid insurance. Promotions & Raises? Those only go to Koreans. Its gone so far down hill in the last 5 years. The culture in that office is so toxic but the job market is so restricted that you can't leave.
