Pros

Not much to say about the pros. It is an old school architecture firm that is close to the suburbs.

Cons

I have never worked in such a shockingly unprofessional and negative environment. C-Level executives constantly tell you that you are easily replaceable and worthless. Senior project managers explode with anger at random times. Management expects you to improve your drafting and understanding how to build a building, yet they don't actually teach or mentor. I felt like scum of the earth when I left, only to become a top performer at a top architecture firm. The salaries are extremely low and practically unlivable in the Bay Area. Holidays are meager - a day for Christmas and a half day for Christmas Eve. No Christmas bonuses, nor a review or a raise after a year.

Pros

Covered Parking. Unhealthy snacks if sugary temptation and following a road to diabetes is your thing.

Cons

Toxic work at atmosphere. Management and senior leaders are in constant competition with one another. Elitist attitude toward staff. They will put you down and insult your intelligence and experience, making racist remarks like when David tells you to “Chop Chop like the railroad” and claps his hands at you when he wants you to work faster or harder. Employees that have been there 20-30+ years seem to have taking a much longer than usual time to advance in the company with little compensation for it.
