Pros

Profit sharing is decent .Company truck . Paid hotels. Decent per diem . Great opportunities to travel . Biggest crane company.

Cons

There are many changes that happen with out letting technician know about they are just expected to know . That being said communication is awful on several occasions they have discussed how to move forward but do not let the actual people that it affects know . They have meeting in the morning so they are unreachable yet nothing pertaining to the technicians day to day . Favoritism has always been an issue with this branch. Lack of leadership disciplining the “favorites” because they know someone. Jobs are not planned based on knowledge ,experience or location as they lead the technician to believe. Work is just given to whoever with no regards for anything. Technicians are just tools and robots to the planners that never get tired and are always asked more from the better technicians. No seniority no matter how long you been with the company they will starve you for hours if you don’t complain. Complaining will get people what they want but will hurt the technicians who will not .They will hire a new technician with the same or more pay without any regard of their most used technicians which creates a problem. As Konecranes has no loyalty to the technician hard for the technician to have any for them . I have been with this company for a while but don’t think this branch has a bright future ahead .

Pros

Healthcare plan is great, chance to interact with many people globally if you are high enough of a position. Managers are hit and miss, depends on your region but I had generally positive experiences with Inside Sales Managers.

Cons

No work from home time for most people, New management for US sales came in and messed up the culture. Fired people seemingly at random, changed the entire organizational manager structure, and did so while delaying movement to a much needed larger office. Everyone left just feels scared and is holding out while they find something else.
