Pros
HR are putting in a LOT of effort into improving the company culture. Great snacks and alcohol fridge, new initiatives, great christmas party. Team comraderie is strong. Pay is good.
Cons
The joking chatter was that the co-founders 'woke up and started a business, it grew too big, they didn't expect it, and they don't have experience on how to manage it and what to do next'. They're really great people that I respected but not so great leaders, sadly. Founders and Directors make decisions as a group, and are extremely slow to accepting new ideas and taking risks. e.g They changed to 'Known' because it was written in graffiti on a train, launched without a proper plan, and within a year are brainstorming a new name again. If they keep butting heads with new Directors or Managers they seem to let them go. We joked we needed to 'just keep swimming' . The recruitment interviews will sell a polished show but there's a lot of mess behind the curtain and extreme patience required. It's a shame because HR put in a lot of work to keep the good vibes. Office is always empty.
