Pros

I love my job, here's why: - Every day I have the opportunity and freedom to experiment, contribute to strategic decisions, and actually see direct impact of my efforts on the company's well-being. - Amazing people work here. Everyone on the team brings unique talents and dedication to everyone's success. - Time and time again, I've seen everyone on the team demonstrate that they are genuinely invested in the success of our customers. - The CEO is vision driven, and goes out of his way to take care of the team. On top of all this, you're exposed to real opportunities to network in the Toronto tech scene, build your professional skills, and take advantage of the latest software tools.

Cons

Every now again you will need to redirect your focus and energy on very short notice and wear many hats. This can be a pro or a con depending on your strengths. If you're goal driven and interested in building out processes (often from scratch), and are good at taking ownership, this is a great opportunity. If you find more success in following established, pre-determined structures/frameworks, you might run into significant challenges.

Thank you for your feedback and I appreciate the vote of confidence. I am confident that as Knit matures many of the processes we're working on right now will be built out. Thankfully we have an amazing team that is working on it right now!

Pros

The team knows and understands what you want. Everyone in the company is very helpful and resourceful. As a part of the team from afar (Cambodia), I enjoy working remotely with them and also get inspired by the founder and appreciate every mean and effort he puts into the company. The company has a vision and always strive to do what will be best for us. Trust and respectful are the most important element in the company. Love to be part of the team.

Cons

A startup will never be running smoothly. There are always things that need to improve: 1. Feature description and design ready (I think we are working on this already - I'm glad) 2. Each department needs to understand what are urgent and most important. 3. Time management is a bit off because of spontaneous and overwhelm requests.
