Pros
Managers are friendly and provide an opportunity to learn basic accounting, great work life balance, staff usually leaves no later than 7 even during busy season. An average stepping stone to public accounting.
Cubes are fairly clean and close to major freeways especially close to little india and the cerritos mall. Parking structure across is nice and no major hassle with traffic.
Cons
High turnover ratio even compared with other CPA firms, compensation materially below market (38k for first year staff), focus not on actual training and career development but instead "talking" about how intern / staff can grow with the firm. No real training unless working directly with selectively few managers.
