Pros
It's a "fun" environment, benefits, unlimited PTO (and encouragement to take it), some nice people, food truck Fridays.
Cons
They talk "fun" but fun costs money. Big Christmas celebration, 20 foot inflatable Santa, 40 people at a concert + a mansion + party bus + private chefs + bartender, Nobu dinners, etc = small margins which = layoffs and problems They talk, "quick, smart decisions" but they're usually reactive decisions which = constantly pivoting, not thinking through long term implications, many projects left unfinished, positions getting filled before there's a plan for that person They talk about "growing" but that is just a focus on quantity vs quality = Checking boxes, getting things done, more clients, but many little things fall through the cracks then come back to be problems They talk "inclusivity and DE&I" but it's not made a long-term business priority that's culturally communicated from the top down with actual goals that make an impact. It's just donating to a nonprofit here and there or having an *insert any heritage here* food truck
