Pros

Not many come to mind… benefits (aside from compensation) were solid. But let’s not kid around - no one goes to work for a company because they kick a little extra into your HSA or give you an extra dental cleaning lol.

Cons

Private equity firm - stay away. Stifled bonuses and raises. Will literally tell you you have a raise or promotion and it’ll take months if it ever materializes. They will say ANYTHING to keep you around.

Pros

Gained a lot of experience in the field Thorough onboarding and training Covered a required certification process Will help immensely for my future Overall, friendly and helpful employees

Cons

6:30 a.m. start time was a tough adjustment, but I ultimately got used to it. I did cry at the end of my time there, because I knew I would miss the people.

Pros

Friendly staff overall. Regional manager is a solid guy. Quiet and relaxed office atmosphere.

Cons

Time keeping in 15 minute increments. Each pay period you have to submit a record of how your hours were spent, partially because clients were billed accordingly. It was tedious and time consuming and often took away focus from the task at hand. Strict about arrival time - at least for administrative staff. This did not seem to be the case for senior administrative staff, as they worked from home and could in theory say they were logged in but may have been involved in personal tasks. Senior administrative staff wants you to do your job well, but not too well that you outshine them. Hourly rate was not sufficient for the heavy workload, or tight deadlines that could appear suddenly. There were periods of downtime in between busyness but overall, it’s a demanding workload and low pay.
