Pros
A really well run company with a diverse set of products and a reliable customer base. Many of the employees and managers you work with are nice and will help you out with any issues or concerns you may have. HR is especially helpful and will bend over backwards to help you out if you ask.
Cons
Some of the processes, programs and software the company uses are very antiquated and need to be replaced. I think if you updated just a few of these issues, you would see a significant time savings and reduction in employee frustration. The company also has a few managers that need to be dismissed. While every company has turnover, whether it be due to an employee getting a better opportunity, a personality conflict or simply hiring someone who isn't a fit for the organization, this can only account for so many associates leaving or being terminated out of one department. However, when one person in a manager position manages to lose 4 or 5 people in a matter of months, and continues this trend over a long period of time, that manager needs to either be demoted or given their walking papers. You're investing far too much money and time in having to recruit, retrain and maintain employees as a result. It's understandable if someone is having a rough stretch, but again, when it becomes a pattern, you need to start at the top of the food chain and work your way down. I think if you start doing this, you'll find a few individuals that may seem to be an asset to the organization but are in fact liabilities that need to go.
