Pros

People are smart and committed. The space/industry is interesting. Every employee gets a system to take home.

Cons

Exec level trying to do too much. Company is too slow to change its ideas. Blame game is present during meetings with execs. Everyone is burnt out, but company still asking for more more more. Culture in the engineering office is terrible, and most people seem constantly frustrated with the direction of the company. Lip service paid to company values, but not followed by those at the top-most level.

Pros

Nice Co-Workers: For the most part everyone was very nice and helpful. You could go up to most people and ask them for help without getting any attitude or get talked down to. Work/Life Flexibility: The higher-ups in my department were very lenient when it came to time off. When you asked for some time off, you were most likely approved that time.

Cons

Let Go Without Notice: I know that California has an AT WILL termination policy, but for a company that emphasized on multiple occasions that we, the employees are like family, they sure did not treat us like one when they let us go. I could tell that some of the employees knew that this was going to happen and didn't seem shocked when the news came out. Since they were brought back a few months later. High Expectations: Always felt like we were on a do or die schedule. Higher ups expect you to know everything about how things worked and chastised you for not knowing the answer at that moment.
