Pros

They pay is fair and overall compensation in good. But thats about the only positive thing about this firm.

Cons

First of all, this is not the elite boutique that it wants to pretend it is. Its client base is mainly smaller organisations or at best, mid-market firms that cannot afford the consulting fees for the larger, more established strategy firms such as MBB/Deloitte/Accenture Strategy, etc. Although most people are "good/nice", there is an air of pretentiousness around this place, with long-term employees comparing themselves to MBB guys. And while the firms recruits (or tries to recruit) heavily from Oxbridge, the quality of graduates is dire. In the past we have often manage to get the ones who didn't make it to other consulting firms or even the Big 4. And most of them, after being at Kaiser for a year or two try to exit onto a larger Strategy house or a Big 4, but the reputation (or lack thereof) of Kaiser means no one is willing to touch them with a barge-pole. Also, working hours are ridiculously long, even compared to other Strategy consulting firms. All in all, if you want to be paid alright (not the highest, but fair) and think you can make a career out of this organisation and make it to Partner one day, then sure go ahead. But don't think of quitting or get yourself fired because no one in industry wants you because of your unheard-of consulting boutique and no larger Strategy house wants you due to your substandard client experience.

Pros

People are very close to one another at the firm. They value work life balance highly and make sure that their ACs don't have to work late just because managers might be working late.

Cons

Bonus is not that big
