HR team likes to impose their opinions over anything else. Many teams just seem to "go with the flow" and this accumulation of tech debt has started to delay features, cause compliance issues, etc. The biggest issue that is not being addressed by the company is Work-Life balance, and how it's gotten steadily worse since the pandemic. I can see folks staying up until 12 midnight or 1 AM to get actual work done. The quality of people is slowly degrading due to the hiring surge. Nonexistent perks. DLRS - Competition among team members for visibility. Haphazard planning and a pseudo startup. It’s not a startup nor a big org. Very rigorous on-call support sometimes. Forget about your personal life it will impact you mentally and physically. Don't pay like startups but want you to work like startups.
