Unionized Plenty of work available to those who request it High turnover rate Opportunities for advancement Safety oriented. Show concern for their employee's safety
Cons
Extremely unorganized. Most managers and supervisors are part of a "boy's club" (clique-ish) Very heirarchal. Clear corruption amongst management. Advancement opportunities tended to be based on friends, not work performance. Training was very limited.
