I’ve had the privilege of working at Klinger since 2018, and my experience here has been great. I started my career as a toolmaker, Thanks to the fantastic support and mentorship from the team, I was able to grow and evolve, taking on new challenges and advancing in my career. Over time, I was promoted to Toolroom Supervisor, where I gained invaluable leadership skills and a deeper understanding of operations. This role allowed me to collaborate with the internal departments and refine my problem-solving abilities. From there, I progressed into the role of Process Engineer, where I was not only responsible for workflows and enhancing efficiency but also in charge of maintenance and improvement engineering. This involved overseeing the maintenance of key equipment and systems, driving continuous improvement initiatives, and ensuring the smooth operation of production processes. Currently, as an Engineering Manager, I am proud to lead a talented team, overseeing the implementation of cutting-edge engineering solutions while ensuring the high standards Klinger is known for. One of the most rewarding aspects of my journey at Klinger has been the company’s support for my professional development. Not only have I been encouraged to expand my skill set, but I’ve also received support for further education, enabling me to continually grow both personally and professionally. Klinger has been an incredible place to develop my career. The opportunities for growth, the investment in education, and the supportive team environment have made all the difference. I am excited to continue contributing to the company’s success and look forward to what the future holds.

no significant cons come to mind

There is lots of change at KLINGER, so there's some great projects and initiatives to get involved with which really add to your experience and knowledge as an employee. Team members and wider business colleagues are all very friendly and supportive of new staff, more so than other businesses I've worked for. It's also great to get an afternoon every week off work!

Have been left behind a little and not modernised practices and systems when they should/could have done under previous management, but that's part of the excitement/challenge and growth path.
