Pros
The leadership team genuinely cares about the staff here and it’s very obvious. Even though we’re all virtual, we’re a really close group. We meet and chat regularly. We support each other, teach each other, and strategize together. We have laughs in every staff meeting. There is a sense of camaraderie I haven’t experienced at other companies. I was surprised to see negative comments about micro-management and narcissist managers because I know the leaders and it’s never been my experience. On the contrary, I love how the leaders (and actually our whole team) have always welcomed new ideas.
We are growing rapidly. That could create challenges, but instead it’s created new opportunities for all of us. We’re invited into key decisions and contribute ideas to the growth and development of the company, as well as our clients' companies. It’s a collaborative environment and everyone has a say. I feel like I make a difference.
Cons
I really like that we are a virtual company. We have teammates and clients all over the country which is fun. Sometimes working across the different time zones from NY to LA is challenging. You have to manage your schedule to that, which requires personal discipline.
