Pros
I was in management during a period of expansion, and I was given a great deal of authority and latitude to accomplish what I needed to, and always felt like I was in the catbird seat. If you were in management, this is a fantastic company to work for. If you know what you're worth and demand what you're worth, the pay and benefits, along with flex scheduling and telecommuting options were just fine, if not high for the area.
Cons
The culture of politics, BS and backstabbing that came along with the acquisition of other businesses was a lot to tolerate. I saw many good people who had been there a very long time essentially forced out of their jobs by a campaign of secret meetings, gossip and general chicanery.
