Pros

KEH strikes a rare balance between being a heritage brand—founded in 1979—and a company continuing to innovate in meaningful ways. The work is complex, motivating, and often requires deep critical thinking. Teams are collaborative and genuinely invested in moving the business forward. Leadership is thoughtful and focused on what’s best for both the people and the company. The repair operation is world-class—there’s simply no other business doing what KEH does at this level. The technicians are true experts, playing a critical role in extending the life of gear and advancing the circular economy. There is also a remarkable depth of product and market expertise across the business—combined with a diverse range of professional skill sets—which makes KEH uniquely positioned in the recommerce space.

Cons

As is often the case with growing organizations, prioritization can be challenging given the number of exciting opportunities in front of the business.

Pros

Working at KEH has truly been the most rewarding experience of my career. The people here are not only incredibly talented and intelligent, but also genuinely supportive — it feels more like a family than just a workplace. KEH has always emphasized a strong, people-first culture, and that continues to hold true today. There are countless opportunities for growth within the company for those who are willing to work hard and stay committed. The team’s passion for the company is evident, and it plays a huge role in KEH’s ongoing success. When you care about where you work, you're naturally motivated to contribute to its continued growth and evolution. I've been with KEH for about three years, and during that time, I've experienced multiple CEOs, executive transitions, and process improvements. As the saying goes, “the only constant in business is change.” Every change we’ve gone through has been aimed at making the company stronger and better equipped for the future. Some might see change as a challenge — I see it as an opportunity. KEH is always striving to improve, and that mindset creates more jobs, more room for personal and professional development, and greater potential for us all to thrive in a community we care deeply about.

Cons

As I mentioned earlier, there’s a lot of change happening within the company right now. While I personally don’t see this as a negative, I understand that change can feel overwhelming for some. That said, every change I’ve seen has been made with a clear focus on progress and improvement. The direction is always forward — and that’s something I truly appreciate about KEH.

Pros

- There are a lot of great people working here who are very knowledgeable, kind, creative, and always happy to help. - KEH has flexible working hours and allows employees to choose from one of three shift options.

Cons

- The current CEO has absolutely killed the company culture since he took control of the company. He lacks any ability to communicate or lead effectively. With each consecutive company wide meeting he gets progressively more unhinged and incoherent, leading many employees to worry and question his abilities. He is also deep in the throes of AI psychosis and is attempting to force it into use where it has no applicable uses yet. - Leadership goes all in on ideas without thinking them through or asking for opinions from people whom it would directly affect, often punishing people for bringing up concerns. This leads to a lot of backtracking and quick fixes down the line for issues that should have been obvious from the start. - Leadership lacks the ability to effectively communicate to their employees changes within the company, leading each supervisor and manager to handle things differently. - Pay is poor and well below competitive in the Metro Atlanta market. - Very little PTO and sick leave available for employees. - There is a general culture of fear in the company as many people are afraid to bring up concerns due to the company's history of punishing those who do bring up concerns.
