Pros
Working at KAYAK has been a great pleasure. The company is growing quickly but new hires never slip through the cracks - the office is comfortable and open and colleagues are inviting and kind. It's hard to be intimidated in this learning environment, as questions are truly welcomed. There are a lot of structures in place to make sure employees from different departments are collaborating and getting to know one another, and the management is always seeking feedback and implementing positive changes.
Cons
It can be unclear in the beginning what other teams are working on, and how their goals might overlap with your own role. Of course, questions are always welcome and colleagues are more than happy to explain - but it is certainly an environment where the more initiative you take, the more you learn!
