Pros
Some of the staff are quite nice to talk to (when you don't get told off for it like you're in school)
Cons
Not what recruitment is to me - you are a cold caller expected to hit a minimum target that is so far from reasonable, you feel like you're going to be let go any day of the week! Not seen any newer staff stay for longer than 1 month (within probation period) The office seems to be 3 permanent staff and the rest seem to be turned over constantly The manager never seems to be on time or leaves early but expects you to stay late when he wants you to. The "training" is patronising. Being a minute late/early on break is called out. You will be told off for having your phone on the desk (told you its like school) I probably left at 6pm around 50% of the time, and had to "stay for a chat" on what I felt is my own time. Performance pay scheme is a joke and a "select few" get the inbound calls. I was also advised to learn and develop in my own time about how to be better at my job... which was minimum wage as a trainee... I also mentioned on my break that I would do a coding course on my weekends, which I was pulled up for a day or so later, patronised for and told a better use of my time would be learning to be a successful recruiter... AKA I got told what to do on my DAYS OFF, for a minimum wage as a trainee. If I needed to learn something for my job, I should probably have been taught it ON THE JOB. Especially since I, like many others, had to do a trial week, for free but marketed as a measly bonus paid back to you afterwards to compensate. I didn't previously have a glassdoor, but after working here... I made one for this...
