Management is terrible. They choose favorites, make promises they can’t keep, and could care less about their staff.
Scheduling is really bad, making this job more stressful than it already is. You are overworked and not given options.
When you’re sick, you better show up or you’re made feel bad and are in jeopardy of a write up. Plus you get no sick leave. In this field, you’ll get sick multiple times a year. And if you want to use your PTO, you probably don’t have any cause they barely give PTO.
MAKE SURE TO READ ALL CONTRACTS BEFORE SIGNING. They will lock you in a pay rate that is less than other places and it’s impossible to get pay raises. (Even though they claim negotiable raises after certain milestones.)
JAC used to be the best place to work until certain management were promoted. Now all they care about is money. The quality of services has gone down the toilet and they could care less.
Good people leave left to right and the people that are still there need the money and are attached to the kids.
