I had high hopes joining Jostens, given its long-standing reputation. Unfortunately, my experience fell short due to a combination of factors that made the role unsustainable and demoralizing.
Leadership often operated with a micromanagement style that left little room for autonomy or trust. Rather than empowering team members, the environment made it difficult to feel valued or heard. The workload was excessive for one person, with unrealistic expectations and minimal support—leading to burnout rather than development.
Despite contributing to multiple key initiatives and working hard to deliver quality work, I often felt diminished rather than appreciated. This culture impacted morale and made it difficult to thrive, grow, or even maintain a healthy work-life balance.
For those considering a role here, I’d recommend asking direct questions about team structure, workload, leadership style, and long-term support before making a decision.
