The worst job I've ever worked in - Anonymous employee JosephM.com Employee Review

The business owner, Pat Copeland, ruined this job for me. She constantly used bully-boy tactics while I was there (making employees cry, screaming at them for no reason etc). She was wholly unprofessional, patronising and rude to her employees. I still remember feeling upset watching her pick on one of my younger colleagues, presumably because of her age, who was eventually sacked without notice for supposedly not working hard enough (I can attest this wasn't true) received abusive texts from Pat after she left the company. She expected the moon on a stick – and then some – from her employees, all of whom were completely miserable due to constantly being put down and criticised despite their best efforts to save a company that was so obviously failing (I wonder why?). I have never experienced such a demoralising line of work in my life, nor met such a rude, egotistic, delusional person in my life as Mrs Copeland, who then has the gaul to put on a pleasant persona and dress up the the nines to schmooze with local newspaper journalists. Completely fake, vapid woman. Avoid.
