Pros

The tool policy is lenient. If you're in on the boss's good side, you will get a lot of more or less unrestricted Grainger access.

Cons

Had I stuck to the basics, I'd still be working there. I went above and beyond my paycheck, and when hours got cut, they wanted to pay me less, but still have me do all the extras. I raised a stink about it, so I got fired, literally only a months after they thought I was good enough to go company. When I was fired, vague reasons with zero further explanation was given. On top of that, if a random drug test were done in the Barstow area, they'd lose half of their employees. Also, the most common reason for firing people at the Barstow office was for drinking and driving the company vehicle. In fact, the guy fired after me was drunk driving doing 100 in a 60 with an illegally modified firearm in the vehicle. This company is some weird magnet that somehow only attracts bad people. I don't know how the other parts of the company are, but the Jetta water side is a joke lead by an alcoholic who spends more time on Twitter than he does working, who is just smart enough to be a snake. Also, a friend speculated that I may have been fired over asking about site expenses and seeing which sites have the best LOE. He figures that I got fired for beginning to uncover an embezzlement deal. I don't know though.
