Pros
Jayman BUILT is a hard-working company who excels at presenting their product to the marketplace. The people who work here are dedicated to their careers, are excited to be a part of a fast-moving industry, and excel at their career niche. The benefits are good, the work environment productive, and the appetite to be the best strong. Employees actively seek out solutions to issues and look at ways to implement effective improvements. Although you work hard when you're 'on', the company respects your time when you are 'off' - no nightly e-mails or weekend calls to arms unless that is your expected schedule. The company rewards hard work with bonuses and is willing to look at compensation corrections if you bring something to their attention. The company is fun to work for, with lots of employee activities, lunches, and random 'fun perks' when goals are achieved (like samosas at a sales meeting!). The leadership is engaged and involved - I've never seen a CEO out in the field like our owner and our president are. The people here really care about the customers - sales people talk about the people that are buying a home from them by name, and give hugs and say hi to families that have bought from them much in the past. This really is a company that cares for it's customers and employees. They are also willing to learn new things, and to stretch their wings.... as long as you do it slowly, and with logic and purpose. :) The meetings are effective and drive action, even though there are a lot of them. There are very few time-wasters here - everyone is too busy :D
Cons
This isn't a free ride :) which I don't think is a con, but some people will. This is NOT a place to work if you don't want to work hard and earn your keep. You will be using 100% of your effort and brain all the time - there are no slack days here! You need to be on your toes and sharp for new ideas, opportunities, and challenges. You must be an effective time manager - 80% done is not good enough. If you're energized by a high output, high reward environment... this is your home. Jayman is a formal corporate environment - you do need to wear business clothes, and if you work in the office, you work in the office. Work from home is not part of the culture, but they do provide adequate vacation and sick days to manage real life.
