Pros
Jamf is a great company to work for. I worked at another "best place in the Twin Cities to work for" companies for 7 years and Jamf is miles ahead in terms of leadership and direction. The atmosphere is casual, yet mature. People act like adults. I have the freedom to define a lot of the work I actually do, and am trusted to do it. Sure there are company objectives to meet, but if I don't like how something is built, I can improve upon it without the bureaucracy. No place is perfect, but this is one of the good ones. I've been at Jamf for 3 years with no plans to leave anytime soon. The Volunteer Time Off is really cool too. I've never had that perk before. You get 16 hours to spend volunteering anywhere you want, and if you get approval from your manager you can get additional time.
Cons
Building management does not allow dogs in the office :( The Vista buyout affected some people or departments more than others. Having shares in the company stock was a perk I never had before, so losing that kind of sucked (our shares were bought out, so we didn't lose the money, just can't keep gaining more shares or value).
