Pros
A lot of good people to work with. Interesting work on various machines. Plenty of overtime on a regular basis. Opportunity to learn a skill in high demand.
Cons
They advertise competitive wages and benefits but not really true. High cost for healthcare with high copays and out of pocket expenses that can add up. Mandatory health screening each year. If you don't agree to take it, your premiums are higher. If you do take it but don't reach your health goal score that they determine because of things like high blood pressure, you pay more anyway! Unbelievable but true. No regular yearly increases or evaluation. Bonuses talked about every quarter but can't cout on it. They are based on projections not actual profit. 4 hours of accrued personal time every 3 months and can't carry over to the next year, don't get sick! Continuous improvement is more like a zig zag race on a course to nowhere by a department with no hands on machining experience. Turnover rate sky everywhere including management. Constantly starting over again with a different approach each time.
