Pros
I have been in Staffing for 9 years, worked at 2 of the largest firms and this is by far the best I have worked for. Leadership was great, helpful and although it is a sales driven career, I never felt micromanaged or had my day run by metrics. If you worked hard and managed your day properly, there is no need to be constantly worrying about a whole bunch of daily meetings or feeling like you never do enough. I loved my time in Staffing but it is a high stress job in itself, so working for a great firm that is supportive is extremely important. When I needed help from my leadership or colleagues, they were always available and helpful. The business and clients we worked with were very professional and commissions on candidates we placed were better than other firms I have worked for. I was paired up to work with Carrie Nufrio as my salesperson, and she was a pleasure to work with. Extremely hardworking and I learned so much from her in the tech recruiting space. Everyone was respectful and during the 2 years I was there I went through a tough twin pregnancy and I cannot express how thankful I am for the kindness I received from everyone during a difficult time. Steve Tatum was by far the best leader I have had in this industry. I am really going to miss my time there and if I ever go back to Staffing, I would love to go back to JDC Group.
Cons
I have no negative things to say about JDC. The only reason I left was because I got the opportunity to work in Corporate recruiting after having my twins, and it was a better fit for my growing family.
