Pros
- defo in top 3 of patent attorney firms in Europe - salary (unmatched in the profession) - bonus scheme (unmatched in the profession) - overtime rewarded with up to 8 extra days off - incredibly competent fee earners (+some specialise in rather esoteric areas) - management is fairly transparent - supportive and understanding line managers and HR - clear expectations Worth noting that, for fee earners at least, the attrition rate is rather low. Can totally see Kemps being a 'dream come true' workplace for many patent attorneys.
Cons
- IT/internal systems are inefficient and outdated (this also applies to certain firm-wide procedures) - support staff need further training - typically very little autonomy at work - the firm's vibe is rather strict and rigid - international community practically non-existent - hybrid working policy lacks flexibility
