Cons
IT & PMO continuously outsource acquisition related integrations to onshore and offshore contract resources without the necessary experience and absolutely no relevant onboarding. The resources have a high turnover and therefore lack the internal business knowledge needed to avoid same mistakes. Program Management prefers to have several colorful spreadsheets to log the 'work' but doesn't act to escalate early on and avoids difficult conversations necessary to mitigate. Instead continues to report green status ignoring delays, escalations and lack of engagement from within. PMO has templates, standards and procedures but doesnt execute accountability within PMO and IT. IT spends more time pushing back than actually trying to do the work. SMEs do not stay in their lane and instead point out all the reasons why some can't happen instead of focusing how we can make something happen. Only time PMO trys to enforce adherence to said procedures with the business but now within The business is always to blame never IT or the PMO.
