Pros

* Worked with really lovely people (mostly the other full timers and part timers) * Had an amazing time vibing with the crew

Cons

Almost everything. The company treated employees like they were replaceable and kept enforcing that. * High Budgets and expected to meet them regardless of how bad the day was for sales. * Spoken down to by Upper Management * No opportunity to grow within the company or get promoted * Upper management is discriminatory, rude and only cares about making money. * Quality of the product = terrible. I had to sit and fix shoes even though it wasn't part of my job description to save the company money sending them back to their manufacturers. * Was forced to do their Opening parties and Irregular Nights till late at night even when I had prior commitments and they refused to meet me halfway. * Was not allowed to help with admin tasks or back office tasks. Was scolded when we tried to help. We were instructed to just stand and greet customers and get them to buy the shoes, and meet our budgets. That's it. No room for growth. * Management fired upwards of 5 people in the span of 5 months even when they were doing their jobs. Their excuse was because they didn't "Fit" the company. * No EAP or other help when work got tough. HR pretty much non existent and rude. * Refused to provide copies of contracts to employees * Upper management talked about employees behind their backs. Super toxic environment. * No work/life balance * Company refused to let me work and study at the same time, and fired me because of it. They do not care about what they do to employees. I would not recommend working for this company ever. They are atrocious and treat their employees terribly. You will not be valued as a person here.

Pros

The staff - The retail staff employed are almost always colourful, passionate and kind individuals. They make the business what it is and are truly the only reason it was bearable.

Cons

Everything else - The pay - It is just not worth it for the amount of work and termoil in the roles. Almost all areas of the company are underpaid and to call the pay a ‘living wage’ is a joke. The morals - Having worked there for a fair amount of time I came to find that this ‘inclusive’ business was pretty much the exact opposite. Inside the company people were not treated with the respect and care they deserved as well as some incredibly awful things being said which contradicts everything the brand is meant to represent. The quality - For a ‘designer’ brand it really is shocking just how little manufacturing care goes into the products. There are almost always issues with specific shoes and bags as well as manual repairs having to be made IN STORE by staff. It is outrageous with the amount charged for these shoes when they are clearly not worth even half that on average. This brand clearly does not care about the well-being of staff members and or the mental health which leads me to say - DO NOT be fooled by the exterior. It is not worth it by far.
