Pros

The company is flexible with your schedule and encourage people who go to college. It is a smaller company, so the people you work with feel like friends compare to acquaintances.

Cons

Management is non-existent. The owner has a person in charge policy which can lead to lack of action. Even if you tell managers what needs to be fixed, or what tools the kitchen is lacking, it has to be approved by the owner. We had a broken faucet (no cold water, only hot) and leaks in ceiling that took weeks to fix. I have seen the owner yell at his employees just to have one quit a week later. I have had co-workers tell me that a kitchen without the owner operates smoothly. And I agree to that. He will nitpick the smallest things while letting his equipment fall to the wayside before fixing it. Lastly, the communication between, FOH, BOH, and management doesn't exist. There will be days when life is good and everything is flowing smoothly, but then there are days where everyone is being passive aggressive because everything is in chaos.

Pros

very friendly fellow employees and manager

Cons

When I started working there the entire staff was overworked and exhausted. I was hired on the spot and started working IMMEDIATELY after my interview. Everything was going fine besides the fact that they were cramming me with all of their rules, expectations, menu, bar knowledge ect. I started to make pretty goof money when I started working there, I was picking up a lot of shifts because as people left I had to pick up the slack. But as soon as new people began to get hired I started getting the undesirable shifts. Almost everyone that got hired with me along with most of the people that had been working there for months when I got hired either quit or got fired. There is almost an entire new staff at all times. Besides my commitment to the company, always being on time, and accumulation of regulars and even bringing in good reviews on Yelp mentioning me specifically, they fired me before the end of the three month trial period. The reason for termination was I "did not meet goals". Which was outrageous because they did not give me any kind of warning or talk to me about which goals I wasn't meeting. Do not work here if you're looking for some stability. They will train you, drain you, then toss you to the curb when they're done.
