Pros
Kind, friendly people. Snacks. Laid back work environment. Flexible. Understanding and good work/life balance. Great health insurance. Great Christmas party.
Cons
A few people at the top of the company control all that happens including who is hired and promoted. Growth is very difficult for most roles in the company. If you do want to grow and want more responsibility you will have to continuously remind those above you unless you are connected with the right people. Promotions take a very long time even if you have met goals. Training is pretty much non-existent. Performance reviews are very rare over the past few years. Salary increases and bonuses are a thing of the past. The discretionary time off policy is great unless you are leaving. It's unfair employees that have been there a long time do not get paid out for the vacation they have earned.
