Pros
1. If you’ve ever wondered how much sleep deprivation the human body can survive, this place is a fantastic research lab. 2. Teaches you patience, tolerance, and how to emotionally dissociate; skills you’ll definitely need after working here. 3. Great place to realize early in life that “passion for law” can be systematically beaten out of you. 4. Free lesson in how not to run an organization. Truly eye-opening.
Cons
1. Work culture is non-existent. Long hours aren’t “occasional” or “crunch time” — they’re the default, and you’re expected to be grateful for the privilege. 2. No work–life balance. Your life is the firm. If you have hobbies, family, or basic human needs, good luck. e. Employees are treated like disposable labor. Respect is nonexistent, appreciation is a joke, and empathy is clearly not part of the firm’s values. 4. No regular promotions or increments. Growth here is a myth used to keep people quiet and compliant. 5. Management operates on fear and pressure, not leadership. Micromanagement, unrealistic expectations, and zero accountability from the top. 6. Toxic environment where burnout is normalized and questioning anything is silently punished. 7. High turnover, but instead of fixing the issues, they just keep grinding the next batch of poor souls.
