I was quite reluctant to continue working in the recruitment industry after my last role but I am so glad I took the risk. This business really is so different and you can sense it just from the interview process. When you walk into the office it doesn’t feel like a recruitment business at all, it just feels like a fantastic group of motivated and happy people really working together as a team. Every single person cares about doing a fantastic job and that trickles down into how they treat their clients, their candidates and, importantly, each other. James and Paul – the owners – work really hard to make sure everyone is happy, achieving what they want to achieve, and they address any problems quickly. As far as my role goes, I have been given complete control and I have been empowered to do my job well. After only 4 months of being at Invenia Group, I was asked if I needed any more help and was allowed to hire a marketing assistant. I am also asked about my thoughts and ideas on wider business plans and any concerns or objections I have are listened to and considered.
