Pros

-You get to work with a lot of smart people that are passionate about energy.

Cons

-Employees are underpaid compared to competitors. -Full-time in office schedule (also not competitive with other companies) -Culture of micromanagement. Salaried employees are required to enter time cards each week showing how they spent every hour of the day, and where they were working from. -HR ignores harassment complaints, even if proof is provided. This perpetuates the boys club culture. -Leadership is wildly out of touch with what employees want/ need.

Pros

Great place to learn and constantly starting new teams that you can learn new exciting things with, but if you're devoted to what you do/don't want to switch teams, you can only progress so far.

Cons

They value young talent until that talent needs support. Lack of structured processes. They LOVE to act like they're some little start up still but spent way too much money overhiring for the wrong teams and aren't as dynamic as they act like they are. Very reliant on government policies and actions, with little to no safety nets (they admit themselves that they've been close to going under before). Have cracked down on WFH and will threaten to subtract from your PTO if you work from home too much. I have watched great leaders get turned into corporate drones several times. Even though they have offices in several cities don't get your hopes up on transferring between them.
