      Pros

      Lots of smart people. Until recently, company punched well above its weight for successful projects by trusting them.

      Cons

      Got excited about a new technology and basically bet the company without finding experts first. ("How hard can it be?") The resulting change in the company's fortune wasn't handled well.

      Pros

      Tons of autonomy - ability to take projects and run with them Growing established company with a strong start-up feel Great atmosphere - work hard environment but everyone is incredibly welcoming and friendly Longer term employees are extremely helpful to getting newer hires up to speed Management is honest and direct

      Cons

      If you need more direction and hand holding vs freedom to make your own decisions this might not be the best fit. Also, a sense of humor is a must!
