Intresting for academics that likes maths an computational geometry.
Cons
Very old technologies: languages like FORTRAN77, LISP and TLC. Editor is EMACS and you get the point. The code base is a bunch of files in a folder, procedimental programing full of acronysms, functions with 15+ arguments and hundreds of lines of code everything in caps lock... Extremely old pipelines, no intentions of anyone to change anything. Very low payed. Avoid at all coast.
