Pros

VP was amazing and a very enthusiastic person. They always brought a great smile to work and made others feel appreciated.

Cons

managers that were there were not experienced at all in how to train anyone. It was a "figure it out, but don't mess up or you're fired" scenario. Very much interpersonal relationships and special treatment for certain ones....

Pros

With all the immigrant drivers, you get exposure to a LOT of different cultures. You are given software and access to their dispatch systems so you can work from home. Office is clean and has effective climate controls. Free coffee. Bring your own cream and sugar. Health insurance offered. Not cheap. Automatic enrollment in 401K retirement plan. If you don't want it you have to opt out within the first 30 days.

Cons

Chinese over time: the more you work, the less you make, Regular hours in the office run 10-12 hours per day. You are required to distribute your personal cell phone number to all drivers so you can be on-call 24 hours per day, 7 days per week. You are given software and access to all dispatch systems and are expected to work from home when not at the office. None of the time you are on-call or working from home is paid; only the hours you are inside the office are paid hours. On average, dispatchers get 400-450 emails every day for a fleet of only 80 trucks. You go to lunch and come back to 60-70 emails requiring your attention.
