Pros

Remote work and pay are competitive

Cons

CEO loves to pretend to care about veterans from which their business model is founded on, but laid me off the second I was no longer of use to them. I helped make this company millions, but when their contracts expired and their funds dried up instead finding a solution they let it run it course and laid off an entire department including myself. I left company partially on good terms because I atleast believed I had a good relationship with my main supervisor. And I respected their requests to not file for unemployment even though I didn’t have to. They coerced me to signed a resignation letter instead to get around this, what’s really funny is they owed me commission which I had to fight them for just so I had some funds to cover me for a few weeks while I looked for another job , they made sure to take their time I had to wait 6 weeks then they send me a check instead of depositing directly into my account so I lost a chunk of it on taxes too. They did that on purpose because they knew legally they were required to release those funds and I would have fought them on that. Fast forward 2 years they secured more contracts for funding who do they reach out to for work? Me. They offered me a ridiculous offer that was 15k less than my salary before I left. Then when I verbally accepted an offer that was still 10k less then My original salary they ghosted me. This company doesn’t care about veterans they just want their money. There is no “family” culture just fake lies and nepotism.

Pros

I have been working as an AI/ML Engineer at Intellectual Point since last 2 years, and I couldn't be more impressed. The management team is highly supportive, approachable, and genuinely invested in the growth and well-being of employees. The company fosters a culture of innovation, collaboration, and continuous learning, making it an ideal place for anyone looking to grow in the tech industry. Opportunities for career advancement are abundant, and the compensation package is very competitive. Overall, it's a fantastic environment to develop both professionally and personally! They give you opportunities to learn and at the same time to teach others, deliver meetups on Digital Natives meetup, participate and speak at conferences and industry trade shows.

Cons

The pace can be fast with high expectations, which may be challenging for some. While growth opportunities are great, more structured mentorship for junior employees would be beneficial. At times, workload fluctuations can feel overwhelming, and communication across teams could be improved. Need to have more town halls to keep everyone in the loop.

Pros

None really stood out in such a short time.

Cons

Joined with high expectations based on the one glowing review out there, but reality was very different. The "fast pace" turned out to be chaotic disorganization with zero onboarding, unclear tasks, and poor communication from leadership.
